We truly live in Orwellian times.

The Israeli Prime Minister, under a cloud of various investigations and accused of mishandling the nation’s security, finally quits – only to announce in the next breath that he will continue his failed policies to the bitter end!

He admits he is not popular – his credibility nonexistent. He lost respect of his coalition partners and his own senior cabinet members, but he is allowed by these same government members to carry on regardless!

Israel is asked by our “friends” to turn itself inside out to please our detractors and outright enemies who “just happen to be” business allies of those very “friends”!

The genocidal Iranian leaders are threatening Israel’s very existence, while our “friends” the Europeans are conducting with Iran business as usual, claiming to “pressure” Iran through U.N. sanctions to abandon its nuclear weapon ambitions!

All this, while our democratic friends through Condoleezza Rice, continue to pressure Israel to give up to the Arabs land essential to the defence of the country, paying no heed to the fact that Israel’s government is at this time in no position to make critical decisions, “democratically” speaking.

Meanwhile, the western democratic world’s economies are threatened by extortionist OPEC oil prices, which by the way, are funding huge military armaments, while the Islamists “promise” to create a world Caliphate!!

Is Anybody Listening out there In Our Semi-Comatose World?!

No End to Outrage

Several weeks ago one of our "peace partners" Sallam Fayad exclaimed that they - the PA - may have to kidnap Israeli soldiers in order to get their prisoners released from Israeli jails!!

There was no official condemnation from government and none from the various political parties to this outrageous statement.

On what grounds does the PA expect to get their terrorists murderers released?!

The PA's Abbas also complained to the Americans that Israel is "humiliating" the PA police, by continuing to arrest terrorists in Judea and Samaria. The reality is that "the PA" does nothing to arrest terrorists and it is "only the continuing presence of our defense forces in the area that guarantees the relative security to our population.

Similarly on the Golan Heights, the border with Syria has been relatively quiet since Israel took the area after two wars and continuing aggression. Israel has no design on Syrian territory, but its presence on the Golan in clear view of the Syrian capital Damascus, prevents any war or confrontation on the part of Syria.

Israel can not and must not give up the Golan. Syria's aggression must not be rewarded. It is somebody's pipe dream that Syria will give up its association with Iran, or its proxies Hezbollah and all other assorted terrorists, in exchange for the Golan.

For those who have not yet noticed, the Arabs as well as Iran, are fighting a proxy war against Israel, a proxy war, embellished by a propaganda machine unequalled in history, surpassing even the Nazi's!!

This Arab propaganda war turned out to be by far more successful than all their previous "hot wars" managing to disorient even some of our own people as well as our few remaining friends!

Only as strong and informed population and diligent defense force staying put on the territory under Israeli control can keep relative peace.

And yet, our misguided government, totally misreading the intentions of our neighbors, is ready to strip Israel of all its defenses, chasing the mirage of peace, which at least at this time in our history is not attainable.

Instead of caving in to the dangerous demands of the EU, and since 2002 also the US, Israel must spend its energy convincing our friends that a "two state solution" and Israel living in peace and security within defensible borders are mutually exclusive!

The radicalized Arab-Muslim population, not only in Israel, but now and in the last three decades also throughout the western world, since the Arabs embarked on war and invasion by other means - is not ready for peace anytime soon.

Only a concerted effort by all free and democratic societies can prevent the spread of radical Islam and global Jihad.

It's still not too late, but soon it may be!

Carrots and Sticks?!

A long procession of foreign leaders has visited recently our state. After the obligatory niceties (the carrots), comes the usual mantra of the "two state solution" (the obvious sticks).

One has to ask, on what moral or legal grounds do these leaders base their demands - that Israel make itself, once again vulnerable - to Arab attacks by building yet another Arab State in its very midst, in its very soft underbelly?!

Such an Arab State would be nothing but the proverbial "Trojan Horse", and the first stage in an all out "war against the infidel" Jewish State!

For anyone, who even has an inkling of the size of the current map of Israel including Judea and Samaria - less than 10,800 square miles - the idea of "the two state solution", must certainly seem incongruous. If this dangerous idea ever came to pass Israel will no longer itself be viable!! And yet these "friends" of ours demand that a future state called "Palestine" be "viable"!

Some of our younger generation do not know perhaps that "Palestine" ceased to exist when the nation of Israel re-established itself on its ancient land.

The only legal document, the U.N. resolution 242, which followed the 1967 war, and decades of Arab aggression against Israel, does not even refer to the "Palestinians", let alone "a Palestinian State" or "Palestinian Territory" "occupied" or otherwise!! All these demands are part of  Arab propaganda, aided and abetted by the playable media. But what about out friends?

Resolution 242 does refer to Israel's right to defensible borders and those borders - all experts agree - are Israel's current borders on the Golan and the Jordan River.

In a "two state solution" scenario, Israel would no longer posses the minimum depth nor defensible borders and that is precisely what our "peace partners" are aiming for!!

We all want peace. But this charade will not lead to peace. A weakened and vulnerable Israel will only hasten further aggression from our various neighbors. We are a small country in a dangerous neighborhood. Any attempt by Israel to make concessions is now interpreted by our enemies as weakness. And the weak will not long survive in the current Middle East.

We must remain strong and vigilant.

We Must Not Allow our Humanitarian Instincts to be Used Against Us.

In the last few days we have witnessed a coming together of our nation in sorrow and in pain, as all hope was dashed for the safe return of Udi Goldwasser and Eldad Regev and instead we witnessed in horror the arrival of two black coffins!

Our enemies are waging against us a psychological war. They know how to push our buttons!!

But we must learn something from this horrific lesson.

We must show them that kidnapping doesn't pay!!

Not only Hizbullah, but now Hamas, is threatening to kidnap more of our soldiers, to exchange for terrorists murderers.

Hamas must be taught a lesson they won't soon forget. They must be told that all food and gasoline supply will be cut off forthwith until they return Gilad Shalit safe and sound. No prisoners whatsoever should be released at all.

Our government must call the shots and not give in to the terrorist murders. The first responsibility of our government is to protect its citizens including our brave and courageous soldiers.

We must not allow our humanitarian instincts to be used against us. We must finally acknowledge that this is war - part of the global jihad. We must not forget that the population of Gaza voted overwhelmingly for Hamas and all they stand for! that we are facing an enemy that is brainwashed and programmed for Jihad, that we are facing an intractable enemy bent on destruction of the "infidel" - Us!!

No other country at war has ever provided food and fuel to its enemies, quite the contrary; They destroyed fuel depots and food crops!!!

Let's get real!

Is This the Way to Peace?

How dare our failed prime minister - under investigation on alleged multiple corruption charges - continue (to travel the world) to represent us??!

How dare he make dangerous and irreversible decisions on behalf of the nation??!

With little time left in office, how dare he release from prison dangerous and savage killers?!!

Now, not only Samir Kuntar, the killer of babies, will be celebrated by Hizbullah, now even Fatah, his "peace partners," are getting ready to celebrate the release of a thousand terrorist murderers along with the body of a female terrorist, responsible for the murder of 36 people and the wounding of 71, in an attack on March 11, 1978.

In an unbelievable act of Hutzpa the Fatah-PA has asked Israel to hand over the body of the terrorist Dalal  Mughrabi, to the PA, so they can "Honor" her by holding a big funeral in Ramala!!! "We want to turn Dalal's funeral into a wedding, a major celebration." a spokesman said.

The massacre that Mughrabi carried out was described by a PA "official" as "a most courageous operation in Israel" by the first "Palestinian" woman!! The PA funded newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadedda called her "a living legend and a wonderful example for all women"!!

If this is peace, what is war?!!
