To Strengthen or Not to Strengthen Abbas?

The engineers of Oslo were advocating strengthening Arafat, in his time, even as he was calling for Jihad against our people and used school curricula, to raise terrorist murderers!

Abbas, our failed government's "peace partner," is still using the same curriculum in the Fatah's PA schoools, while using Arafat's tactics of peace negotiations!!

One had only to listen to Abbas's Eulogy for the propagandist "poet" Darwish to understand the nature of the "peace" negotiations. Abbas's Eulogy included these phrases;

• "Darwish was one of the symbols of "Palestinian" steadfastness."
• "You represent everything that unites us."
• "The Palestinian Flag Darwish raised high with his poems will someday hover high over the minarets, churches and walls of Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the Palestinian State!!!"

As the above quotes clearly spell out, Abbas is no "peace partner". and strengthening Abbas is the height of folly.

Our misguided government obviously does not understand the nature of the enemy or its goals, and is leading  the country to disaster, as it is "reassuring" the Americans of its continuing commitment to the "Two State Solution"!!!

The sorry excuse for the "Two State Solution" and giving up land and defensible borders to the enemy is the issue of demography. But, Israel does not owe land or citizenship to a terrorist entity whose population was educated for Jihad against Israel!!

Now, in order "to strengthen Abbas," our government released from prison convicted terrorist murderers and accomplices to terrorism and murder of our people!!

These terrorists received a hero's welcome in Ramallah and were assured by their chieftain Abbas that there will be no peace until all terrorist prisoners are released from prison!!!

Several days later, Abbas was quoted as saying that Condoleezza Rice agreed  with him that their State would include all areas to the 1949 Armistice Lines - till the River Jordan, the Dead Sea and Jerusalem!!

We are getting mixed messages how far the negotiations have actually progressed. There is serious worry that an outline of borders ect. will be presented to the UN General Assembly this September!

"As an American, I do not feel that the Israelis are obliged or required to give up land in order to bring peace," so said Mike Huckabee, former Governor of Arkansas, who was also a presidential candidate, earlier in the year.

"You do not achieve peace by creating a situation where you can not defend your borders and therefore protect your citizens. Having a temporary cessation of hostility is not peace, if while that cessation of hostility is going on, just across the border, arms are being built up for the purpose of pushing that border down."

He said if he were an Israeli father, he would want to know that the country's borders were well defended. How can a father sleep well knowing that not many feet away someone has a rocket pointed at him? He could only imagine how it would feel to have a dangerous country only a few meters away.

He said it was not merely unrealistic but irrational to have two governments in such close proximity. Why should a Palestinian state be founded on top of a tiny space, the size of a postage stamp, if you look at the map of the Middle East, while that same map shows "an extra-ordinary footprint for land controlled by Arabs," he said.

He also said he does not believe that Israel's interests were served by placing a Palestinian state, particularly one with a population that had ties to Hamas in either Jerusalem or the West Bank.

He said his position is consistent with promises that had been made to Israel's governments by the United States. Huckabee spoke of his admiration for President George W. Bush even as he took issue with the Two State Solution. Giving up portions of the West Bank to the Palestinians would be "irrational" from both the security and effective governance perspectives.

Mr. Huchabee's voice is indeed a voice of sanity and reason.

Mr. Bush is the first US President to "commit himself" to a "Two State Solution," which is dangerous for Israel.

Israel must create policies of our own, policies that protect the interest of our people and the integrity of our own state.

The "Palestinians" are "mere" proxies of the Arab League as well as their invention! The "Palestinians" have no right to our land nor to our Holy City, Jerusalem! It is futile to negotiate peace with people who have been programmed for Jihad from early childhood!

We may have to face the sad truth that peace is not attainable at this point in our history.

Demography, the "bogyman" of our present government, is not an immediate danger to our state - (as many, perhaps most of the "Palestinians" are not entitled to Israeli citizenship).

Indefensible borders in a "Two State Solution" are the immediate danger!!

Call for new elections before this government commits an irreversible and catastrophic error!

So said presidential candidate John McCain several months ago, when it became clear that Iran's Mullahs are racing towards building nuclear weapons. The same sentiment was expressed by John Bolton, Former US Ambassador to the UN.

There was much toing and froing in recent weeks between the military high echelon of both the US and Israel; political pundits in Israel interpreted all this as mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries vis-a-vis Iran!!

Well, think again...

It now seems they were just picking our brains.

We are now told that the EU, which is still doing business with Iran, is against military action, after years of dithering and fruitless talk, which permitted Iran to make progress towards nuclear weapons!!

The US too, now joined Europe, and warned Israel against attacking Iran's nuclear installations saying it is not in American interest. But what about Israel's interest when threatened with annihilation?

Enough! Enough already! How much longer are we going to allow ourselves to be treated as some underlings of the US and Europe?!

How much longer?

How much longer is Europe, whose foreign policy is dictated by the Arab League, is going to dictate to Israel where we may, or may not, build homes?

How much longer are we going to let foreign powers to force us to build a state for our enemies on our already sparse land?!!

When are we going to put an end to this dangerous and insane "two State Solution"?

When are we going to expose the Arab propaganda for the Big Lie that it is?

And when are we going to tell the "Palestinians" that they have no right to our land, not 93%, not even 1%?!

And when are we going to throw out this spineless and weak kneed government and go to new election?

Yet Another Saint

Flags are lowered to half-mast in Ramallah, as our "peace partners" declared three days of mourning for Mahmoud Darwish, Arab Propagandist - cum poet, who is credited with "helping to forge the Palestinian National Identity." According to Arab sources he was important not only to the "Palestinians" but to the Arab world in general.

What Darwish is best known for, is his hatred and incitement against Judaism and Zionism, according to Zevulun Orlev, former Israeli Education Minister. His "poetry" being part of the curriculum in PA schools, contributed greatly to the Arab decades long Propaganda campaign and violence and terrorism against our people!

Even the three recent attacks in Jerusalem, by a terrorist on the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva and then by the tractors, were no aberation, but a result of the "core curriculum" of Abbas's PA!!

But our government still insists that "Abbas must be strengthened"!! Just as Arafat had to be strengthened in his time, until Oslo blew up in our faces.

Several weeks ago when Israel freed Samir Kuntar, a terrorist murderer, and released the body of a notorious female terrorist, responsible for killing and maiming many Israeli civilians, the PA in Ramallah was hoping to honour her with a grand funeral to celebrate her dedication to the Arab cause and called her "an example for all women"!!

Such are our "peace partners" and our misguided government is "determined" to let them have their way.

Stop this "process" before it's too late!
