James Jones, the U.S. Middle East security co-ordinator, will not, after all, present a document outlining Israel’s security needs following creation of a “Palestinian” state!

Interesting, isn’t it? First create yet another Arab state, on our Land, even though there is no room for two viable states, and then, a foreign power – no matter how benign – may decide for our government what our security needs are?!!

In 1967, following the 1967 war, the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff recommended to then U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson, that Israel must retain Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and the Golan Heights, (as well as the southern-most tip of Sinai – Egyptian territory – to ensure safe navigation), as minimum requirements for Israel’s security. Why try to reinvent the wheel?!! Was that not clear enough?!

When will our leaders finally show enough intestinal fortitude to make Israel’s case?!! When will our foreign policy be decided in Jerusalem, not in (any) foreign capitals??

We are often told that countries have no friends, only national interests. There is, and was for many decades now, a great deal of “horse trading” between western nations and the Arab League, all at Israel’s expense. Enough already!!

Israel too has national interests; first and foremost, to defend national security – security of all citizens, including and especially, those like Sderot and other border areas.

Globally – Israel, along with the rest of the western world, is facing a global Jihad. It is not too late to confront the Islamists and stop them in their tracks. This Jihad is still in its early stages. A determined effort by world leaders, who wish to prevent the mistakes of the past, can and must prevail if we are to avoid a catastrophe of unprecedented proportions.

Only a strong and united Israel within safe, secure and defensive borders can, and must guarantee Israel’s sovereignty.

WE MUST STOP THE JIHADISTS BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.

Threats from Peace Partners?!

The head of Kadima – Ms. Livni – was forced to call for early elections, since she could not promise not to divide Jerusalem.

The representative of the PLO-Fatah, Ms. Livni’s “peace partner” Abu Alla, immediately issued a threat that, there will not be peace with the Arabs without Jerusalem!!

Mahmoud Abbas has discovered, (perhaps the hard way), that he can get far more concessions – “painful concessions” (!!) from Israel, without threats – talking peace – while preparing for Jihad!!

As stated earlier, there simply is no room on 10,800 square miles for two viable states. Without Judea and Samaria, and the defense line on the Jordan River, Israel itself will cease to be viable and would become incapable of defense.

Judea and Samaria, like Gaza, will become terrorist enclaves, and Israel’s major civilian population centers as well as Ben Gurion International Airport would be subject to attack by missiles, including shoulder held anti-aircraft missiles!!

The so-called negotiations with Syria are not only dangerous, but pointless. Syria is not about to give up its association with Iran, Hezbollah or all the other terrorist networks stationed in Syria; in fact, this is simply Syria’s modus operandi!

Yes, Syria wants the Golan, but not for peace! As long as Israel’s defence forces remain in Judea and Samaria and sit on the Golan, with Damascus in their sight, the Arabs, including Syria, will refrain from a major confrontation.

The Arabs have no legal rights to Judea and Samaria. Syria lost the Golan through repeated aggression.

We cannot give up our defensive borders and strategically critical Judea and Samaria – our Heartland – to the Arabs bent on our destruction!!

Repeating the Same Mistakes....

Why do some of our leaders keep repeating the same mistakes, hoping for a different outcome?!

Oslo was an experiment, as it turned out, a very deadly one. Instead of peace, the PLO-Fatah unleashed an unprecedented but pre-meditated terrorist assault on Israel’s civilian population!

The signs were there for everyone who wanted to see.

Arafat, while negotiating peace with Israel in his speeches, incited crowds in Arabic to Jihad and to march on Jerusalem.

In PLO-Fatah schools, children were indoctrinated for hatred of Israel and Jihad - Holy War!

The mosques in Jerusalem and throughout Judea and Samaria were preaching Holy War against the “infidel” Israel!!

Throughout this “peace process”, Israel’s leaders preferred to say that all this was “merely” (!!) for local consumption!

Merely for local consumption?!! We were reaping the effects of this “local consumption” in October 2000 – and for more than three years.

The terrorist war the PLO-Fatah unleashed on Israeli civilians left more than a thousand dead, including many children, and many more thousand were maimed for life!! It left many bereaved families and orphans!!

But the story didn’t end there – violence still continues! Israel is still “negotiating peace” with Arafat’s partner in crime Mahmoud Abbas while anti-Israel indoctrination and brainwashing continues in schools, in mosques and the “official” press of PLO-Fatah!!

Peace cannot be achieved through appeasement and irresponsible and irreversible concession of land to this hostile brainwashed people, land which constitutes our life line and line of defense in this hostile and dangerous neighborhood!!!

Israel must retain its present defensible borders if it hopes to survive. Those borders include the Golan Heights and Judea and Samaria – all the way to the River Jordan!

There is no moral or legal reason to abandon our land and defensible borders!

The Fiction of Palestinian "Peoplehood”

Consider the following facts juxtaposed against the Arab League propaganda campaign against Israel:

In all their wars of aggression against Israel, 1948-1973, the Arabs swore openly, and without shame, to annihilate the Jewish State and its people!!

In 1973, after yet another bloody war and close call for Israel, the IDF ultimately prevailed – the Arab League embarked on an unprecedented propaganda campaign against Israel and the Jewish people, aiming to delegitimize the Jewish State and its sovereign rights in its own homeland.

To this end, historical facts were stood on their collective head – the Arab war of aggression against Israel became “The Israeli ‘Palestinian’ Conflict”!

The Arabs are using the oil weapon to coerce and blackmail western nations, and other oil dependent states, to follow the Arab propaganda line against Israel which promoted “the inalienable rights of the ‘Palestinian’ people”!!

But the “Palestinian peoplehood” is a fiction – an invention of the Arab League.

There were no “Palestinians” in Eretz Israel in the 17th and 18th centuries –there were only about 50,000 Arabs – most of them temporary workers, from neighboring Arab States.

The “Two State Solution” is an invention of the Arabs – to deprive Israel of Judea and Samaria (and Gaza) – strategically critical land constituting Israel’s defensible borders!!

As the above map clearly shows, the Arabs are not short of land, and there is simply no room in Eretz Israel for two viable states!

Oslo was a hoax – not intended for a peaceful solution to “the Arab-Israeli Conflict”. Oslo was part of the Arab war of stages – the “Phased Plan Resolution”, Cairo, June 9, 1974!!

The U.N. Resolution 242 (1967) does call for an end to the Arab-Israeli Conflict, and for recognized defensible borders. It does not call for the creation of yet another Arab state!!

Not Continuity but Change!

The deeply flawed Kadima leadership wants another 18 months to finish the job it started in 2006.

Here is a report card on its performance over the first 30 months:

• A humiliating failure to defeat Hezbollah in Lebanon in 2006
• The acceptance of Arab-dictated Security Council Resolution 1701, paving the way for Iran’s restocking of Hezbollah with an estimated 40,000 rockets
• The surrender to Hamas’s demand for a cease-fire / rearmament pause that did not include the release of Gilad Schalit
• The freeing of terrorist murderer Samir Kuntar and hundreds of his compatriots in exchange for the mutilated bodies of two Israeli solders
• The handover of a historic piece of central Jerusalem real estate to Vladimir Putin, a key contributor to Iran’s pursuit of offensive nuclear capability
• The steady erosion of the 2003 economic reforms that propelled Israel to unprecedented growth

Israel can ill afford another 18 months of this kind of “leadership.” In the words of former defense minister Moshe Arens, “The present government cannot be trusted to deal adequately with the great challenges facing the nation…It is time for change.”

The People of Israel demand the right to speak!
