I agree that the Arabs are going to have to want peace just as much as Israel wants peace. Israel will declare war before they succumb to Hamas' demands for a cease fire agreement. The future of Israel will remain in the hands of their allies until agreements can be made to alleviate pressures made by the war on the home front.

Just Peace For Israel

Dear Drea,

We appreciate your comments we agree with most of what you wrote. Hamas' cease-fire “offerings” are not intended to end hostility, quite the contrary. They use the cease-fire to rebuild and re-arm!

As for our future – the future of our state must remain in our hands. We are grateful for American friendship and understanding. But allies often act in their own interest, their own understanding of the middle east conflict.

Here in this violent region there is no room for error.

Our people have too often paid dearly relying on friends and allies.

Our cause is just. We are fighting enemies who simply want to destroy us.

With the Almighty's help, we shall defend our people and our land.

"Shalom Achshav - MILCHAMA MACHAR !" should be our battle cry.
