TO ALL AM ISRAEL
An Open Letter to Ms. Clinton:
Accept please, our congratulations on your swearing-in as the next Secretary of State of your country.
Americans are known as a great people, and for their amazing ability to create and innovate – some call it the “can do” approach.
During your confirmation hearing, you expressed determination to resolve the “Israeli-Palestinian conflict”, saying “we cannot give up on peace”. But, the conflict is an Arab-Israeli one, not Israeli-“Palestinian”. Israel has no problems with the Arab peoples. It is the Arabs who have a problem with Israel’s very existence as a State in our ancestral land.
It is not merely Hamas that will not recognize Israel, and is sworn to our destruction. It is the Arab League that refuses to negotiate with our government. It was the Arabs who have sworn to our destruction in every war of aggression they initiated against our people and our State since 1948.
If their attitude has changed, they haven’t said so. Meanwhile, their propaganda war against our people and our State speaks volumes.
Perhaps in your quest for peace in the Middle East, you could start your valuable efforts with our Arab neighbours, that is, all the member States of the Arab League.
The “Palestinians” and “their inalienable rights” to our land are an invention of the Arab League when they created the P.L.O., “The Palestine Liberation Organization” in 1964, in Cairo. That’s when the West Bank – Judea and Samaria – was still illegally occupied by the Jordanians, and Gaza by the Egyptians. Between 1948-1964, there was no talk of creating a “Palestinian” State, or of the existence of a “Palestinian” people hood. There never existed in all of recorded history, a Palestinian State!!
The Arab-Israeli conflict is not about a “Two State Solution” or for “two States living side by side in peace”.
The Arabs already have 22 States on an area of some 5,300,000 square miles. Israel, before abandoning Gaza, was merely 10,801 square miles – including Judea and Samaria. There simply is no room for two viable states on our land.
The Two State Solution is a subterfuge which would make Israel indefensible in any future war. Giving up Judea and Samaria, and connecting it to Gaza, is a prescription for national suicide!
The hostile population both in Gaza and Judea and Samaria, which was and still is educated for Jihad against Israel, does not require a State of their own. What they require is a re-education on how to live in peace and prosperity; devoting their lives to build a better future for themselves, and their children.
We, Israelis, hope to see that happen one day in the not too distant future.
Again, we wish you luck in your peace mission.
