TO ALL AM ISRAEL
It is useful to remind ourselves that anti-Semitism does not spring out of nowhere. It takes planning, propaganda and years of indoctrination, before it can take root, even in this age of instant communication.
It took more than 35 years for the Arab propaganda campaign against Israel to bear fruit.
Israel has been, and is being demonized by Arab countries forever it seems, but Europe and other western democratic countries were only seriously exposed to anti-Semitic Arab propaganda following the Yom Kippur war of 1973 and the Arab oil embargo.
After several disappointing wars of aggression with an openly expressed aim to destroy the Jewish State and its people, the Arabs turned to their ultimate weapon – anti-Israel, anti-Semitic hate propaganda and P.L.O. terrorism, “The Palestine Liberation Organization”! The oil embargo, as a weapon of coercion, ultimately succeeded beyond their wildest expectations in “convincing” western democratic States to toe the Arab propaganda line, to vilify, demonize and delegitimize the Jewish State and its rights in its own homeland!!
To achieve this aim, the Arabs had to invent a “Palestinian” people, who were unknown until recently, in the history of the region.
The Big Lie spawned other lies – “the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people”, “Palestinian land”, “Israeli occupied Palestinian land” and the like.
Now, terrorism of every kind, not “merely” PLO-Fatah, but Hamas, must be “justified” as “legitimate” “liberation” movements!!
So, according to this “logic” – this propaganda war – Israeli lives can be disrupted with bombardments of dozens of missiles daily, but Israel has no right to defend its civilian population from this scourge of terrorism which amounts to war crimes!!!
The Arabs in Europe have no problem calling on their own brethren to come out in force in demonstrations against Israel, using the most vile language. They can always count on some useful idiots to join them. There is no question that Arab hate propaganda, in Europe particularly, against Israel and our people has had an effect, since it penetrated its schools and universities, as well as the media.
It’s most important to know your enemy, its’ tactics and its’ goals. It is also important to remember there are still many good people out there who support us.
