Prime Minister Netanyahu's announcement to name Israel's Heritage Sites is admirable, but why “davka” 100, or even 150?
Let us start by renaming all our historic land by its proper Hebrew names.
Our government can not be selective about which Heritage Sites to name, just as we, the people, can not be selective about our historic memory.
Renaming the land by its proper historic names will have multiple beneficial effects. It will serve to show those who work tirelessly to divide our land, including some of our own confused and misguided “humanitarians” whose land – Eretz Yisrael really is.
We can not pick and choose which Heritage Site to name depending on its location in order to make room for yet another Arab State in our heartland for the fake “Palestinians”. There was never an Arab state called “Palestine” in all of recorded history, and there is no such thing as a “Palestinian” peoplehood.
As pointed our previously, there is no room for two viable states on our land, on 1/5th of what the Romans and the Brits decided to call “Palestine”!
Renaming various parts of the land by its proper historical Jewish names will also have great educational value both for our own students as well as students in the Diaspora. It will help shut the mouth of those who slander and demonize our people and attempt to delegitimize our right in our own land, Eretz-Yisrael.
The perfidious Brits did not bestow on Israel any rights we didn't already have. The Balfour Declaration and the League of Nations Mandate simply recognized the Jewish people's rights to its ancient land, Eretz-Yisrael.
Our people, the returning exiles, restored and rebuilt the despoiled land left destroyed by successive occupiers and nearly empty of population. But there always was a Jewish community, even after the forced expulsion. Even at the worst of times, we the Jewish People never gave up title to our land.
We must stop the perfidious scheme of the “Two State Solution” as continuing with this dangerous farce helps to reinforce the bogus Arab claim to our land and their aim to delegitimize our right to our own land and destroy us in stages!
Oslo is dead. Arafat and his PLO killed it when, instead of peace, Israel got a Jihadist terrorist war against our civilian population, killing more than a thousand and maiming many more thousands of innocent men, women and children!
Now his successor is threatening “religious war” – Jihad – again, because Israel dared to assert its rights to its holy sites.
We are living in a very dangerous period in history, not only for the Jewish people, but for the entire Western world and possibly all mankind.
No nation in all of recorded history has ever agreed to give up its heritage to a sworn enemy, which has no right to any part of its land.
Our government must understand that it can not please all the people all the time. It can not even please some of the people some of the time.
This government, as any government, is sworn to protect all its people and its defensive borders. The “Two State Solution” will not bring peace but hasten war, as Israel would become more vulnerable!!
