Yes, we are still a young nation. Yes, we still have a lot to learn in terms of diplomacy. Our prime minister appears to want to be all things to all people and that applies to both domestic and foreign policy.
In domestic policy he appears to want to satisfy both the left wing in his coalition and everyone else. That obviously is not working very well, as in the end he satisfies no one.
At his UN General Assembly speech he promised to tell the truth. He had a perfect opportunity to expose the hoax of “the Palestinians,” the “peace process,” and tell the world that Oslo is dead as the Arabs have abrogated every letter of that agreement starting with Arafat's terrorist war from the territory Israel allowed him to control. (See also the Phased Plan Resolution Adopted at the 12th Session of the Palestinian National Council Cairo, June 9, 1974) and following with Hamas and Fatah's Abu Mazen, who openly states that he will never recognize a Jewish State!! What's there to negotiate?!!
The simple fact is that Oslo should never have happened!! Israel offered to the Arabs in Judea and Samaria a limited autonomy. But before too long, things got out of hand and in a bazaar-like fashion, the Arabs wanted more and more!
The truth is that Israel has no land to give. Without Judea and Samaria, Israel will become indefensible!
The Arabs in Judea and Samaria are an imported population. They have no right to a state of their own. Why is our prime minister reluctant to state those simple facts?!!
Mr. Panetta may be a fine gentleman. But he came here on a mission from his president. Obama has made it his personal project to create a “Palestinian” state! But there never was an Arab state called “Palestine,” and there is no such thing as a “Palestinian people”!!
Mr. Panetta, urging Israel to take bold action for peace is not useful! Giving part of our land to a hostile people who do not even recognize our rights in our own land will not lead to peace, but war!!
Mr. Panetta, as a former CIA chief, knows only too well that the fake “Palestinians” are merely a tool of the Arab League, that a state for the fake “Palestinians” is designed to do two things;
- To delegitimize Israel's rights to its own land
- To destroy Israel in stages. (See the Phased Plan Resolution)
Mr Panetta may have wrongly convinced himself that what he is doing is in America's best interest. But he could have been told that it is not in Israel's best interest to give up vital strategic land to a hostile entity!
All previous international treaties clearly state that Israel's borders are the Jordan River in the east and the Mediterranean in the west. Israel must have the courage to state clearly our rights to our historic land and defensible borders.
May the new year usher in peace, goodness and blessing on Am Israel!
