Settlements an Act of Vandalism?!!

The British Deputy PM Nick Clegg has described settlement activity as “an act of vandalism”(!!!) to the “peace process” during a press conference with Mahmud Abbas in London!! This, despite describing himself as a strong supporter of Israel, which he viewed as a “beacon of democracy in the region.” (Jerusalem Post, January 17, 2012)

In view of this outrageous insult, his complement is less than worthless!! But that's British diplomacy for you. The British Balfour Declaration, November, 1917, and subsequent INTERNATIONAL TREATIES ratified 1920-1922, were supposed to help the Jewish People to reestablish their state in their ancient homeland. After recognizing their “connection”(!) to the Land of Israel, the British even managed to convince the French to give up the East Bank of the Jordan River (the French occupied that land in World War I), for the Jewish People, to ensure that the Jewish People will have a viable state.

All this before the Brits shamelessly betrayed the Jewish People, giving away the very same territory to a never before existing Arab Kingdom of Jordan! But as if this was not enough, they attempted to further divide the Land of Israel through various White Papers. These machinations did not succeed as even the British Parliament and press called it a betrayal of the Jewish People and the League of Nations Mandate, which called for large scale immigration and “close settlement of the land” by the Jewish People.

To add insult to injury, the Brits restricted severely the ingathering of the exiles to the Land, while turning a blind eye to the illegal influx of Arabs into the land. The close settlement of the land was then further restricted for the Jews while large parcels of land were given to the illegal Arabs!!

When, during World War II, the Jewish People fled the ever increasing persecution in Germany, they were prevented from entering the Land of Israel by the British who sent most of them back to Europe to face all but certain death at the hands of the Nazis!! But even after the war, the surviving remnant was cruelly prevented from entering their land, and was shipped to Cyprus and other detention camps behind barbed wire, as if their suffering during Nazi persecution was not enough!!! That cruelty and the cruelty perpetrated against the Jewish inhabitants of the Land of Israel - “Palestine,” during the mandate period by the Brits must never be forgiven or forgotten!!

But the Brits never stopped meddling in Israel's affairs!! There is no "peace process," only a process to divide the Land of Israel yet again and deprive us defensible borders. We have no land to give. Israel must remain a viable land!!

Abdullah, Pick up the Phone

When all the wild, desperate, improbable solutions to a problem have been exhausted, there is nothing left to turn to but the obvious. In respect to the Arab-Israel conflict the “obvious” has been staring us in the face for over 40 years. Encapsulated in the mantra “Two States for Two Peoples on Two Banks of the Jordan River,” it has the distinction of being the most ignored testament to rationality and common sense in the history of international diplomacy.

An “invented” nation the so-called Palestinians surely are, but given the world’s acceptance of their claim to sovereignty, it is on the shoulders of the world, not Israel’s, that the realization of that aspiration rests.

Indeed, if it’s solely a “National Home” for which the so-called Palestinian yearn , rather than the liquidation of the Jewish National Home, such an abode – fully furnished – already exists east of the Jordan River. “Jordan” it may be called, but encompassing 77 percent of Biblical Israel expropriated by the British and handed over to a Hashemite desert potentate, it is a “Palestinian State” in the purest post-Biblical sense of the term. That this de facto “Palestinian State,” with its 70 percent “Palestinian” majority, should be allowed to stand on the sidelines, exempt from any material obligation toward its compatriots, boggles the mind.

Gratuitous advice can no longer be accepted as currency for Jordan King Abdullah’s unsettled debt of responsibility for the “ingathering” of his Palestinian “Diaspora.” Nor can further attempts to shift the burden to Israel be accepted. Having made the “Palestinian “ issue the fulcrum of its Middle East policy, the United States should be bringing every material and diplomatic resource at its disposal to the aid of its favorite king in the fulfillment of his national duty. It might even be worth the inception of a modern-day “Marshall Plan” to finance the resettlement of the “Palestinian Arabs” to their “homeland” east of the Jordan River.

The US and Iran's Nukes

To All Am Israel

There is no doubt that the US is best positioned to deal a heavy military blow to Iran's nuclear facilities. Most experts agree that the time is now or it will be too late!!! Those who claim that Iran “may be” a year away from acquiring a nuclear weapon are merely guessing, just as they have for many years.

The sanctions the US and some EU countries are now applying should have been applied many years ago to have done any good. Now, Iran is too far advanced to capitulate.

Instead of coercing Israel not to initiate a preemptive attack the Obama Administration should do the right thing itself! Israel can not wait indefinitely. Israel's very existence is at stake!!! The entire world would breathe a sigh of relief if the Ayatollahs were to be defanged. But according to reports the US would consider military action only after the Islamic republic begins building a bomb!!! (The Jerusalem Post, January 15, 2012)

In other recent reports the Obama Administration is in the process of preparing contingency plans in the event Iran becomes nuclear!!!

A nuclear Iran is very different from a nuclear Soviet Union. The same policy options do not apply. The Soviet leaders were not suicidal, as some commentators have observed.

As we have said previously, the joint missile defense drill (which has now been postponed indefinitely) described as the “largest ever” will not protect Israel against a nuclear Iran. It may be just a measure to assuage Israel's concern and to reassure Israel of the Obama Administration's readiness to help defend Israel against a massive missile attack!!!

Thank you Mr. Obama, but no thank you!! Israel must be able to defend itself. As Golda Meir, Israel's former Prime Minister had famously said to then President Nixon; “Mr. President,. by the time you get here, we won't be here.”

Israel must act prudently and assure the Obama Administration that our preference would definitely be a joint resolve and attack on Iran's nukes by all Western nations, especially now, as Iran is already flexing its muscle and threatens to close the Straights of Hormuz, thereby choking and attempting to destroy Western economies! Just imagine what a nuclear Iran would do!

A Sacrifice too Far!!

Ambassador Zalman Shoval was once my favorite diplomat. Now, I have some very serious doubts. His article on December 28 titled,“Why Gingrich is right – and wrong” misses the most important issues. Gingrich did not simply say that the “Palestinians” are an invented people. His main point was that they were invented to delegitimize and destroy the Jewish people. When are we going to finally acknowledge that “simple” truth?!!

This is not an issue of an invented people “longing”(!) “to live side by side in peace” with Israelis. The tragic truth is that they are continuing their “struggle” to disposes us from our land and to replace us!!! Israel does not exist on their maps, not in their school books nor on their official maps!!! They teach their children from the earliest age that “martyrdom” for their “holy cause” is most desirable!!! They name their streets and squares, their sports teams and their summer camps after Jihadists!!! And here, we are referring to the “peaceful” PA - Fatah and PLO, not Hamas!!!

And that's not all. They and their masters the Arab League, have waged a holy war against the Jewish People and the State of Israel throughout the whole world. Through lies and deceptions they claim that the Jewish People are “occupying their land” (!!!) that Israel practices apartheid against them and therefore Israel should be ostracized, boycotted, isolated and destroyed thereby creating what some call a new kind of antisemitism!!!

How does one live in peace with people bent on our destruction?!! A people who spend decades and untold treasure re-writing history and coercing other important nations, using the “oil weapon” as blackmail in their unholy mission!!

Mr Shoval is right that the “Palestinian” presence on the Land of Israel is relatively recent, only a few generations. But he fails to mention that importing Arabs from other Arab states is a tactic often used to displace the local population, in this case us – the Israelis!! Remember Kosovo?!!

The Arabs also use false exaggerated numbers with reference to their population in Judea and Samaria, as well as the refugee numbers. So we are not merely speaking about an invented people, “the Palestinians.” We should also unmask their bogus claims, their bogus history as well as their bogus refugees. There were only, according to the records at the time, between 300,000 and 350,000 Arab refugees between 1947 and 1948. Most left early, in 1947, at the urging of their Arab leaders, as they wanted to get the Arabs out of the way preparing to massacre the Jewish population!! There are no millions of “Palestinian” refugees. The numbers are bogus. The whole issue of refugees, whether we call them Arabs or “Palestinians” is bogus. The special status bestowed on the bogus “Palestinians” by the UN created UNRWA only perpetuates the Big Lie of a “Palestinian Peoplehood” and their descendants “right of return”!!!

The whole issue of who is a refugee deserves further elaboration. Suffice it to mention just two facts; 1) that no other refugees were ever allowed to perpetuate themselves in “camps” (which are more often than not private homes) at the expense of the international community, and 2) the millions of refugees who survived WW 2 were resettled within two years. It is also worth mentioning that some of the so called refugees were merely poor people from neighboring Arab countries mainly Syria, who “joined”(!) the refugees in order to benefit from the freebies provided in the camps. When the issue was raised with the UNRWA officials they simply stated that they can not turn away the poor. This was reported in the local press at the time.

As we see from all the above the entire structure of the Arab claims was built on a web of lies for the sole purpose of deligitimizing and destroying the Jewish People, our State and our history in our own land – Eretz Israel.

Mr. Shoval cites Oslo and demography as compelling reasons for the “Two State Solution”

The issue of demography may be complicated. But considering the exaggerated numbers of the bogus “Palestinians” and the bogus “refugees” as well as all their bogus claims, Israel is not obliged to provide a state for a people whose sole purpose is our destruction!!

We would be fooling ourselves if we pretended that such a “Palestinian” state would be, or would remain, disarmed!!!

We are most grateful to Mr Gingrich for revealing the truth to those too young to know or to remember, not only in America and Israel, but throughout the world. If nothing else his revelation may put an end the the bogus claims of the bogus “Palestinians” and the Arab League, provided that we do not continue to nurture those claims and continue to call the Arabs “Palestinians”!

It would be clearly suicidal to sacrifice our strategically vital land, the high ground and defensible borders on the Jordan River comprising Judea and Samaria, historically, biblically and under International Law our land, to a bogus entity bent on our destruction. Truly a Trojan Horse! An enemy held at bay at the present time must not be allowed to move closer to our population centers and all that this entails. The country would, G-d forbid, cease to function as the population would be under constant fire and Ben Gurion Airport would be within range of shoulder held ground to air missiles!!!

Neither Oslo, nor any concerns that “Israel remain democratic and Jewish” can possibly justify the horror of creating a hostile Arab state in the very heart of our state!!

Oslo is dead! The “Palestinians” killed it by breaching every single aspect of the “Peace Accords” when Arafat's Jihadists waged a terrorist war on our civilian population killing more than a thousand and maming for life many more thousands. Abbas said repeatedly, he will never recognize the Jewish State. Abbas is no less a terrorist than Arafat was, (although) his tactics may have differed until recent times. His unilateral call on the UN Security Council to recognize “Palestine” and now the union with Hamas and call for “armed struggle” by both Hamas and the PLO Jihadists spokesmen, should stop once and for all the pretext of any kind of “peace process”!!

The Israelis, who are so good at protesting the price of cottage cheese, should realize how dangerous an enemy within will be!!!

Citizenship was never granted to an enemy planted deliberately on another land.

A Terrorist Convict Adviser to Abbas!!

A convicted terrorist released recently from prison in the exchange for Gilad Shalit, a man responsible for several murders of Israeli civilians, has been named in a “Presidential Decree”(!!) as adviser to “President” (!!!) Abbas for “local government”

All this while Israel and “Palestinian” officials are to meet in Amman Jordan for “peace talks”?!!

Before the “Peace Talks” even got underway, Abbas “warned”(!!!) of “hard measures if Jerusalem doesn't accept demands”!!! (Jerusalem Post main feature, January 4, 2012)

How did we get to this outrageous situation(?!!) and why is Israel still ready and willing to negotiate? Negotiate what?!!
